SokaStats
Overview
SokaStats (“we”, “us”) provides football scores, statistics, feeds, and related features. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process when you use the SokaStats mobile app and related services, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Depending on how you use SokaStats, we may process:
- Account identifiers and display name when you register or sign in
- Device push tokens and notification preferences
- Follows (teams, players, competitions) and match alert settings
- In-app activity needed to run the product (for example feeds you open or content you post)
- Technical diagnostics such as crash or performance signals from the device / OS
Match data, standings, and media shown in the app may come from third-party sports data providers. That content is not your personal information.
How we use it
We use this information to:
- Sign you in and keep your session secure
- Sync your follows, preferences, and alerts across devices
- Deliver feeds, scores, and push notifications you request
- Improve product reliability and performance
- Keep the community safe and enforce our Terms
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may use trusted processors (for example push delivery, hosting, or authentication) strictly to operate the app. Those providers may process data only on our instructions and as needed to provide their service.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of SokaStats and our users.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account, we remove personal profile data and preference links we store for you, subject to limited residual copies in backups or logs that expire in the ordinary course.
Your choices
- Update your display name in Profile
- Manage notification preferences in the app or system settings
- Log out of your session
- Delete your account from Profile in the app — this removes personal profile data and preference links we store for you
- Or request deletion on the web at sokastat.com/delete-account using your account email and a verification code
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal data, or to object to / restrict certain processing. Contact us to make a request.
Children
SokaStats is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. When we do, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate protections are in place.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of SokaStats after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
